Since I have found a nice tool for statically generating a blog and associated feed I may aswell go ahead and set up a proper page.

What you can expect

I’ll likely post random updates for my tool gcli here, stuff I otherwise do and also document stuff that others may find useful.

Without priority this may or may not be about:

• FreeBSD, *BSDs, UNIX etc
• C
• KISS Software
• Networking
• Rants about modern software development
• Hiking and other outdoor stuff

Content will be rather mixed and not consistent at all.

What I did here

This site is made from the retro template that ships with sblg. I simply copied it, messed around with the template, CSS and a few other things and called it a day. Since I am not a web developer and don’t know CSS at all I am open to suggestions about the site. Feel free to contact me and tell me about your improvements, however please note that there won’t be any JavaScript on this site.

Also, I do generate an Atom feed from it, if you’re so inclined to use it. I can recommend sfeed as a feed reader.

This site is deployed via a cron job that pulls and builds the web site every 15 minutes from a private git repository on Sourcehut.
